Check Out the Strong Film Review

I just asked myself a question after watching “12 Strong”. Why didn’t the American authorities send 1200 of these well-trained and experienced soldiers instead of this limited group of 12? Then, in one fell swoop, they could have damaged all the Taliban and the scum that belongs to them. Now, after more than 15 years, the American troops are still there, and the living conditions and the political situation have not improved much. I can believe that these 12 elite soldiers there have made a breakthrough in the action against the Taliban. I would also like to believe that the whole Film is based on real facts. But I think the event between the fall of these soldiers and their return home should be taken with a big grain of salt. It felt like a superhero movie at times and this is the classic example of American patriotism. The latter a little too much for my taste.

These Taliban wrestlers strike very badly.

Any idea how many Taliban wrestlers are cracking these 12 Super Elite soldiers? And how many have finally been sent to the afterlife with a targeted rift, where they are expected from a Harem? I lost the account after a while. I am sure that the automatic rifles of the American soldiers were equipped with an automatic aiming function, because the number of headshots was incredibly high. I assume that the Taliban wrestlers were equipped with outdated Soviet weapons or weapons from other parts of the world, because their striking capabilities left much to be desired. Or maybe they had desert sand in their eyes. Or the American soldiers chose the perfect moment to strike, maybe these Muslim warriors were overcome as they opened their Persian carpet and knelt for their prayers in Mecca. I have no other explanation. Either that, or they’re just extremely bad at striking.

action against chariots with horses. WELL, THAT’S SOMETHING ELSE.

I admired these elite soldiers because they had to move around this country on horseback. Nothing special, they will say. But not when you realize that only one person has experience in this discipline. It is surprising that no one has fallen from an Afghan ridge. They also had an additional obstacle. Not only local warlords like dostum (David Negahban) deeply hated the Taliban regime. There was also the mutual rivalry between the different Afghan debate leaders. Afghans all seem to have a short fuse (stressful for self-destructive baby boomers). However, I don’t understand how they finally knew who to strike, because these Muslim militants all look the same. “12 Strong” is a debate film like so many others. Except that they will action against force majeure with an arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons. This gives us impressive, but at the same time dubious images. It sounded like “The Magnificent Seven”mixed with “Hacksaw Ridge”.

The honor of being the captain of these elite troops was given to Chris Hemsworth, who played it with brilliance and judgment. Mitch Nelson is an officer with no experience in the debate, but with a charisma and an intellect that guarantee the complete success of this impossible operation. He manages to convince a general after interrupting him several times during his Briefing (apparently, this does not happen in the US army). And he manages to decisively convince an Afghan debate leader, so for a short time he forgets about a year-long argument and briefly buries the hatchet. “12 Strong” is certainly exciting, contains a whole series of action-packed scenes and clearly shows how chaotic the political situation is in this country. My personal opinion on the whole issue is of a completely different nature. And many will disagree with this. Let me put it this way. I am convinced that these tragic conflicts will not stop and will not change anything as long as there is money to be made from these sad conflicts with simple and innocent people who are victims. Viola, my two cents.
